Resident’s Bulletin Board

This page is intended to be the on-line notice board for both ‘formal’ notices from the airport to all residents (NOT NOTAMS) and airfield users, but also for anyone who wishes to announce a matter of interest or relevance to other users of the airport – for example: aircraft or part shares for sale, syndicates looking for another member, accommodation available locally for pilots/students, car sharing, etc.

Notices will be kept on-line for a maximum of 6 months, unless instructed to remove in advance of that. Notices may be edited to maintain a practical format for use on this page.

Double size room for single occupancy with a huge field at the rear that the room overlooks. Car parking on drive with garage and small attic storage. Living room next door and upstairs large bathroom with walk in shower and bath. The room is currently furnished but can be tailored if you want to use any of your own furnishings. Currently the room includes a bedside table, double mirrored wardrobe, large work/writing desk, double iron style bed and chest of drawers. Shared downstairs kitchen and another toilet. All bills included with free wi-fi. Close to Kidlington and the airport.

The house here is 1 minute from bus stops towards airport or Oxford city on Oxford Road, 8 minutes walk from Sainsburys, 3 minutes walk to a pub and a chinese restaurant / takeaway, on a quiet side street, with off-street parking - possibly a garage parking space.

Price for a good room, is £470/month inclusive of bills (electric, gas, internet) - which works out to ~£15/day or ~£24/weekday for someone away at the weekend; much cheaper than any good B&B and by a bus stop or  - I can provide a good breakfast for a few pounds more.
