CIQ (CUSTOMS & IMMIGRATION) REQUIREMENTS

London Oxford Airport accepts all flights direct from world-wide destinations, both EU and non-EU with the requisite notice periods to the UK authorities – UK Border Force/Police.

  • We are a UK Certificate of Agreement airport with additional ‘Approval for imports of aircraft from Third Countries’.

  • We also accept inbound freight – HMRC Alpha Code: OAK, Sequence Code: 452

  • We are also an Isle of Man-approved Customs Warehouse

A General Aviation Report (GAR) is required to be completed by operators prior to departure for the UK and submitted as required in the guidance from the UK Government here but in all circumstances send to the National Co-ordination Unit at ncu@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk

We also request that GAR forms are copied to the London Oxford Airport Operations Desk at ops@londonoxfordairport.com so we can follow-up and ensure all parties have the information required.

As a general guide, inbound flights from Europe require 4 hours’ notice and those from non-EU countries need 24 hours’ notice for submission of the GAR.

To/From the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man – 12 hours’ notice prior to departure/arrival including the regional Police authority notification at general.aviation.se@hampshire.pnn.police.uk

The standard government-issued GAR form can be downloaded here (MS Excel format), alternatively file directly on UK Government portal online here
