Oxford Airport has had an Airport Consultation Committee for many years.  Its work is guided by the guidelines issued by the Department for Transport which were updated and re-issued in December 2003.  It operates under a formal constitution agreed by the committee. The committee meets every four months and discusses matters such as planning, environment, airport activity, noise and operational and business issues as they affect the airport and its neighbours.

The committee consists of nominated elected representatives from County, City, District and Parish Councils, airport users, CPRE and OXANAG.

Members of the public who wish to comment on the benefits and concerns which operations at the airport have on the local community are asked in the first instance to raise them with their elected representative.  Alternatively they may write to the Airport Manager at Oxford Airport, Kidlington, OX5 1RA.

Noise complaints may be registered by ringing 01865 290 664 which will be answered by Operations personnel.  If this cannot be answered in person, the call will be transferred to an answer machine from which follow up action can be taken.  All complaints are registered.  Alternatively comments can be faxed to 01865 290 605.
