March 2005: Celebrating the 60th anniversary of VJ day on Sunday 14th August, Oxford Airport is happy to support one of Europe’s finest outdoor events, the Blenheim Festival of Flight.
With a big band swing concert, huge firework display and no less than fours hours of spectacular flying displays, Blenheim Palace, just a mile from Oxford Airport, is going to be the place to be. Aviators wishing to fly in for the day or that weekend will enjoy half-price landing fees and free aircraft parking.
