Oxford, January 2005 As the demand for more hard-parking space has continued to increase through 2004, Oxford Airport has commenced laying down a substantial area of Perfo reinforcement tiles into former grass parking areas. Parking for at least another seven light jets or turboprop aircraft has now been provided close to the southern apron area to provide greater flexibility and additional relief on busy days. The German-designed Perfo system is an excellent solution to meeting immediate needs where further parking space can be created in a matter of days. Occasionally used at major air shows such as Berlins ILA, Perfo has been shown to easily support medium-size and larger jets whilst the system has been used for laying down airstrips.
