Las Vegas, 12 October 2004 - Raytheon Aircraft Company's Hawker Aircraft Services and NetJets Europe have signed a four-year maintenance contract for Hawker 800XP and Hawker 400XP business jets in the NetJets European fleet.

For routine maintenance up to and including 300 hour checks, the maintenance operations will be performed in the new Hawker Aircraft Services EASA Part-145 approved facility at Oxford Airport outside London. There, a "go-team" supplying 24/7 aircraft-on-ground support by licensed engineers will also be based. The "go-team" will have ground transportation and a supply of spares and tooling to immediately respond to AOG situations in UK and Europe. Oxford now expects several visits each week from the Netjets Hawker fleet.

The contract will provide NetJets with full maintenance for both the 800XP and the 400XP (formerly the Beechjet) models. Heavy maintenance work on the Hawker 800XP will be performed in the Hawker Aircraft Services EASA Part 145 facility in Chester, U.K. The facility will institute seven-day multi-shift operations to accommodate the new contract.

"This agreement is great news for the Raytheon, a further endorsement of our workforce's ability to provide the highest level of support," said Brad Hatt, President and General Manager Hawker Division. "NetJets Europe continues to grow in importance as a European customer as they develop their business and their fleet of Hawker aircraft. This Agreement further strengthens our relationship and we look forward to providing support to NetJets for many years to come."

David Marcus, Chief Operating Officer NetJets Europe added "This maintenance agreement further reinforces NetJets' long-standing commitment to safety and service. World class support of this nature ensures that the aircraft we operate for our customers are maintained to the highest possible safety standards, and the superior reliability that results from such maintenance ensures that we can continue to deliver the optimal service standards NetJets customers have come to expect".

NetJets Europe was founded in 1996 and today is the largest operator of business jets in Europe. It is the marketing agent of NTA (NetJets Transportes Aereos), a Portuguese company and an EU air carrier.

Raytheon Aircraft, parent company of Hawker Aircraft Services, designs manufacturers, markets and supports Beechcraft and Hawker aircraft for the world’s commercial, military and regional aircraft markets.
