Airline Charter Flights

Check-in Info:

Check-in desks for all airline flights usually open either 2 hours or 1 hour 30 minutes prior to departure and close promptly at the very latest 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time of departure. Please see our guide below. Late check-in may result in difficulty accepting passengers and baggage for flights and the risk that departure may be missed, or the flight could leave without you, as such our advice is to give yourself good time to reach the airport and be checked-in for your flight. If you have any questions, please contact Oxfordjet Customer Services and handling staff in advance who will be able to assist.

Security & Boarding Lounge: Once checked-in, passengers are free to use the café, shop and bar opposite the terminal entrance or use the reception lounge area before going through security. Once through security screening, passengers will wait in the boarding lounge until the flight is ready for embarkation. Note: There will only be limited drinks (tea, coffee) available in the boarding lounge available via pay vending facilities.

Car Parking

Airline passenger car parking is provided in car parks ‘Y’ or ‘J’, directions for which will be given on arrival at the security gate or see site plan here (pdf - 301KB). *It is recommended that fellow passengers and bags/luggage be dropped off first if preferred at the terminal entrance, then vehicle and driver can return to ‘Y’ or ‘J’ car parks. Parking is £25 per week and must be made before midnight on the first day of arrival.

*Note: No baggage trolleys are available in the passenger/visitor car parks, ‘J’ & ‘Y’ which are 2 minutes walk (250m) from the terminal building.

Taxis at Oxford Airport

On return to Oxford Airport, local taxis can be called by our Customer Services team on your behalf or pre-arranged in advance (recommended) – call Customer Services on +44 (0)1865 290 600 or e-mail customerservices@oxfordairport.co.uk.

Car Rental

Arrangements can be made for pick-up or drop-off of hire cars in advance with a number of local companies including Hertz, Enterprise-Rent-A-Car and Thames Valley Rentals (TVR) – see contact details here. Keys should be left with the terminal reception (check-in desk). Enterprise-Rent-A-Car have an on-site office at London Oxford Airport opposite the terminal entrance.

Airport Facilities

Café, bar and shop - is located to the side of the terminal (50 metres from terminal front entrance) serving all usual refreshments and selling newspapers, magazines and other supplies. Terminal staff will call for passengers who are in the café/bar in time for security screening prior to the flight.

Disabled passenger and baby change facilities are found close to the reception/check-in desk.

Main (reception) lounge - once checked in, passengers can use the Oxford Lounge, adjacent to the main reception area if not in the bar/café.

Boarding lounge - following screening, passengers will be using the Vitesse Lounge prior to boarding the flight. Only limited refreshments (tea, coffee) are available in this area via pay vending facilities.
