Pleasure, Trial, Sightseeing & Experience Flights 
On a seasonal basis, we do see operators relocate aircraft to Oxford Airport over several weekends in the summer for sightseeing flights in the de Havilland Tiger Moth or de Havilland Rapide. Generally these will fly around the city of Oxford to view the ‘Dreaming Spires’ and will pass by Blenheim Palace on the return leg before landing. Some Fly out towards the Cotswolds region. As and when these are announced, we will place further details below. However, the operators of these aircraft can be contacted directly at either www.classicflight.com, www.brooklandsflyingclub.co.uk, or www.duxfordflying.co.uk where they might arrange one-off trips from Oxford or from their home airfields. Many companies organise corporate reward or hospitality days from Oxford, either flying staff or clients for day trips. Within an hour’s flight from Oxford one can reach the shores of France to Deauville, Le Touquet or Dinard (St. Malo), or indeed Bruges in Belgium, for a spot of serious gastronomy and shopping. Operators of charterable, lower cost, light twin piston engined aircraft able to do such trips include Oxford-based AirMed and Oasis Flight.
