Oxford Airport’s airspace is unrestricted with an excellent weather record for aircraft training providing pilots with instrument and visual approaches. Other advantages for training operations include:
If you aspire to get your private pilot’s license or fancy moving on to be an airline pilot, a number of companies at Oxford can get you there (see below). PFT also undertakes aerobatic training courses, IMC and others. Uplift Aviation provide the FAA Biennial Flight Review. All pilots who fly as pilot in command using US FAA qualifications must, with a few exceptions, take a Biennial Flight Review with a flight Instructor holding FAA qualifications.
