Security Requirements for airline passengers:
Passengers may be asked to remove coats, laptops, shoes, belts or jewellery during the screening process.
Security Screening & Boarding Lounge:
Once checked-in, passengers are free to use the café, shop and bar (Costa Coffee) opposite the terminal entrance, or use the reception check-in lounge area before going through security. Once through security screening, passengers will wait in the boarding lounge until the flight is ready for embarkation. Note: There will only be limited drinks (tea, coffee) available in the boarding lounge available via pay vending facilities.
Note: Passengers must go to the security area no less than 20 minutes before scheduled departure.
Café, bar and shop – is located to the side of the terminal (50 metres from terminal front entrance) serving all usual refreshments and selling newspapers, magazines and other supplies. There are no calls for passengers who are in the café/bar for the flights – please be on time for security screening.
Disabled passenger and baby change facilities are found in the terminal, close to the reception/check-in desk.
Main (reception) lounge – once checked in, passengers can use the Oxford Lounge, adjacent to the main reception area if not in the bar/café.
Boarding lounge – following screening, passengers will be using the Vitesse Lounge prior to boarding the flight. Only limited refreshments (tea, coffee) are available in this area via pay vending facilities.
Vida Health & Fitness Club – is located at the entrance to the airport (525m from terminal) and provides all usual gym facilities, a solarium, showers and a beauty treatments room with massage services for that pre or post-flight refresh.

Use Oxford city (OXF – 8 miles) or Bicester North (BCS – 12 miles) rail stations for the highest frequency of services, alternatively, Hanborough (HND – 3.5 miles), on the Cotswold Line (First Great Western) which is the nearest station (5 mins drive – note, no taxi rank at HND). Note: An Oxford Airport Shuttle bus runs between the terminal and Oxford city rail & bus stations for the Manx2 flights (commences May 2012)
Buses run between Oxford rail station, past Oxford city bus station and on to the airport terminal and back.
Alternatively, there are general bus services to the airport entrance (525m from the terminal) from Oxford city centre operated both by www.oxfordbus.co.uk and www.stagecoachbus.com (every 15 minutes weekdays to hourly at weekends).
Note: Taxis from Oxford or Bicester North rail stations to the airport may cost up to £15.

Arrangements can be made for pick-up or drop-off of hire cars in advance with a number of other local companies including Hertz, and Thames Valley Rentals (TVR) . Keys should be left with the terminal reception (check-in desk), unless being met by hire company representatives.
